Can you introduce yourself?
Hey! First off thanks for doing the interview w/ me girls! :) My name's Jillian Riscoe and I'm a 19 year old rock/pop singer/songwriter :)
When did you start singing?
I started singing when I was a toddler-about 3! I started performing publically around age 7.
You have released now 5 CD's...how have you grown with them? Do you write your own music?
I started recording when I was 10 years old, and I'm now 19 years old so that's alot of time for different life experiences and emotions to go through, haha! &Yes, I write my own music, and also collaborate with other musicians on the songs. I began songwriting when I was about 11 and I know over the years of working on writing lyrics and melodies there is a definite growth of them just being more structured and mature. I'm so excited to release another album, I will keep you posted! ;D
You're now featured on iTunes, how excited were you when you were added?
VERY excited! :D don't forget to pick up the collisions and crossroads ep w/ Patrick Woolam at iTunes today-the support means alot :D
Are you working on a new album?
I can tell you I've began working on writing new music and the rest I will have to fill you in when I can shhh ;) so stay tuned...
Your song Girls Talk Too was featured in The Utopian Society, what was it like for you when you found out you would be featured in the movie and the soundtrack?
Very cool! When I watched the movie, I was so stoked to hear the song in one of the scenes, I screamed a little haha!
What is something that you'd like to accomplish in your career?
Honestly, I have one of the longest 'to-do' lists for my music career. Here's a few...have a #1 album, sold out concerts, perform on SNL, Leno and all the other talk shows, get a Grammy, perform at the Coliseum in Rome-that's the ultimate dream venue for me. :) Those would all be AWESOME, but I honestly want to have a long lasting, successful and productive music career. :)
Who would you like to do a tour with?
If they were all still here, The Beatle's. :D Besides that, David Cook, Kelly Clarkson and a few others. ;)
Do you have any upcoming events that you'd like to share with us and the readers?
If you live in the Kansas City area, please come to an exclusive acoustic set and trunk show w/KC jewelry designer Deanna Burasco! I will be performing live and we will premiere a new jewelry line we co-created together. Check out the details in my blog! :) I hope more events all around the country will be added soon, soon, soon. :)

Favorite place to shop? I <3 Forever 21& Standard Style Boutique.
Favorite thing to do in your spare time? Besides music? Hmmm, lol. Going to the Country Club Plaza, concerts, shopping, laughing w/ friends&family, lol. :)
Favorite band/artist? I have ALOT ;) Not picking favorites, haha. :P
